This gelding is a 15 year old  2D to 3D horse, he will need an experienced rider not for a novice rider. Boone is an honest horse and runs very hard to his first barrel. Boone does have a ally issue, no raring up or stalling just when he is ready to go in he is ready, meaning he will take off running even when you aren’t ready. He is very automatic no checking just hustle. He has been ran everywhere, from high school rodeos to cpra and barrel races. He is also a hand on a ranch, you rope and drag steers and calves and even teach colts to lead. Boone was cutting horse in his younger years and was shown at the futurity when he was three. He was laid off for a year do to an accident in the pasture to his shoulder. Had xrays and he is fully recovered, does have some muscle loss to the shoulder. Boone does come with some problems, he is a stall kicker and also in the trailer as well. He will also chew a lead rope in too, and doesn’t like shots or warming. He will run backwards on you. THANKS TO KAYLA RENFRO. BEST WISHES. This big pretty black gelding stands 15 hands and weighs 1080. If you like them cow bred on top and running bred on bottom, take a look at his predgree. He is bred nice. Blackie has alot of bone and size on him. He was a little under weight when I got him but he is gaining weight quickly.  He will be a knock out when he gets in top condition. Right now I have sent him to a cutting horse trainer to put a little more handle on him just because I am over loaded on horses that I am riding . This trainer really gets them broke in the bridle. Don’t hate me because I am beautiful! Freckles is one drop dead gorgeous 7 year old gelding. He stand 14.3 has had 9 months of cutting training as a 3 year old and is a finished barrel horse. A job he doesn’t really like!! Put it this way when he pulls a run together he hits in the bottom of the 1D or the top of the 2D. So this is why I am really not pushing him as a barrel horse but don’t hold that against him. He could go in many other events. When you ride by on him people will stop and look. He is gentle for anyone to ride or handle no bad habits he is sound has never had any lamness issues.  I hope he is to your liking.

Dualin Tomcat

I bought a horse from Brenda in the fall of 2008 and couldn’t be happier! Brenda answered several emails and phone calls from me about Peanut (Dualin Tomcat) and then we made arrangements for me to come see him. I was able to try him in two different arenas and ended up spending the day with Brenda looking at some other prospects while I was in town.  I had a ball with her that day but was also able to see what an honest and great person she truly is with these horses.  I have been so pleased with Peanut and he has been everything Brenda told me he was and more.  He is super broke and has been a joy to have around.  We entered his first ever barrel race a couple of weeks ago and he eased thru and won the 4D on half second splits with a pro girl setting a new arena record!!! I expect great things from him in the future.  I have referred several friends to Brenda and wouldn’t hesitate to go to her for my next prospect!

I purchased a registered ranch horse from Sugar Sand Ranch over 10 years ago. This horse, Buzzer, I consider my once-in-a-lifetime horse. I made him a finished heading horse, and competed in the USTRC, Booger Barter, and local jackpots. We were earning a paycheck everywhere we went.  Someone was always offering to “take him off my hands”.  I was even offered a blank check by a well-known PRCA roper.  What a great feeling to know your horse is admired by so many!!  I also won money on him at NBHA barrel shows, and placed in the top 10 at a huge stock horse show in Ft. Worth in the working cowhorse division. He was exactly as Brenda described him to be; there were absolutely no surprises - except he exceeded my expectations at every challenge I put him through!  I contribute my success with the honesty of this great horse.

Moka

When the time came to start considering “younger” horse, I went back to Brenda.  Of course, she had exactly what I was looking for.  Moka, a 4-year old Colonel Freckles grandson, was the star in my eye.  Moka has had 6 months professional roping (heading) training.  He is now finished on barrels.  And he continues to make progress with every show.   He is truely a diamond. I can’t tell you how much we love the grey gelding! He is our favorite horse. I have turned down $10000 for him. We have been heeling on him, using him in the pasture, and just riding him. He is wonderful!!! He has more personality than any horse I have ever owned. We all argue over who is going to get to ride him. He makes every step I make in the barn. He loves to work cattle and took to heeling just like he had always done it. All of our friends are crazy about him too. We wouldn’t take anything for him. I will look at the other horse you have. We named the grey horse “The Little SOB” and it fits him perfectly. We have owned alot of horses, but he is a very special one!! DOROTHY , TOTO  AND  MICHA

Dang Brenda, what kinda animal did you sell me?  I’m just kiddin’- Micha and I went for our first ride out in the pasture today-she has a super handle on her!  She has power steering deluxe!  She was in an unfamiliar area but rode out just as quiet as she could be and nothing seemed to bother her.  The wind was blowing like crazy but she was very calm, which is good because this is Kansas and the wind blows 364 of 365 days a year!  She has such a sweet personality.  I appreciate your being so honest about her.  She is everything you said she was.   Like you said you can put about anything in her mouth; I was able to use my other barrel horses’ same tie down and bit on her and she acted like she had worn it a 1000 times.  Something tells me I may need some glue on my butt when we really get to running the barrels full speed-she is fast! I would definitely not hesitate to buy another horse from you-Micha is a sweetie and you can tell you took your time and trained her right.
